Thanks to everyone for responding to our how to remove cigarette smoke damaged walls blog post. After unsuccessfully phoning around for Trisodium Phosphate we visited a local hardware store explained our dilemma, was told despite decades of experience they have never heard of Trisodium Phosphate but thought we should try TSP hehehe.
Last night after tinkering around with the old inverter and getting it going again we started to clean the ceiling and free the home of yuk. After a few swipes of the mop we transformed into bobble heads in horror from uncovering pure nicotine. We snapped a few pics, escaped to regroup another day whilst watching the summer solstice moon have its way with our forest.
More TSP is needed and we may return the 2 gallons of Kilz sealer after deciding not to salvage the dry wall. And I still don’t have our chickens set up at the new place yet.
