My 3 big pigs require about 50 pounds of food per day to keep them happy and ready for motherhood and winter. I make up the weight with perishables donated by my friends, family and give them land space to forage and uproot. Everyday I set aside goats milk keifer whey, donated table scraps, crab apples,
vegetable garden cast offs and whatever earthly foods come my way. On this day they got some left over chicken of the woods mushroom. If you have perishables or know of a restaurant owner or any source of (non meats) foods that would normally be designated for waste please contact us. We barter too.
